    Only released two years ago, Painter Essentials 7 is already obsolete for OS Big Sur. Yet, it's a better version than the succeeding version 8.

    Although the app is only two years old it won't run on my new iMac running OS Big Sur. I also have the Windows version installed and it works fine, but I dread that it will be obsolete should I install the upcoming Windows 11.
